Materials for Renewable and Sustainable Energy is a peer-reviewed, open access academic journal published online by SpringerOpen. This journal focuses on the research of materials used in renewable and sustainable energy technologies, including experimental and theoretical studies. MRSE covers research on sustainable energy conversion, storage, and energy-saving materials and prototype equipment, as well as materials required for renewable fuel production. The topics of the journal include but are not limited to renewable energy storage and conversion materials, batteries, supercapacitors, fuel cells, hydrogen energy storage, solar photovoltaics and solar cells, biofuels, carbon dioxide storage and conversion, energy-saving materials, thermoelectric, new lighting sources, building energy conservation, material modeling and theory, advanced characterization techniques for materials, etc
